Playwright
My artistry as a playwright began in high school when I would write small dramas for Black History, Easter, and Christmas pageants and such. Working as a Director of Music at several churches and eventually being hired as the Interim Choral Director at Clark College before being hired as the Choral Director at Morris Brown College inspired more in-depth and complex narratives and plays. Americolor Opera appended its name to Americolor Opera and Theater Arts to reflect the diversity in its presentation which included operas, plays, historical narratives, concerts, and special tributes and music memorials. Listed below are many of those works.
